The staff and location were very good for us. Twin bedrooms. 15 minutes walk away from museo correr. Castello district won't disappoint you.
location - can't get any closer to the old town. Perfect! Staff was very friendly, room was small, but clean and in style with the whole city :) Did not think that in this price range you can get such a nice hotel!
Lavishly decorated huge rooms with high ceolings, an absolute pleasure to be inside! It's unbelievable how the owners reproduced the spirit of medieval Venice! If you want to recharge your marriage or to spend a honeymoon it's absolutely a place to go for you! Plus their breakfast's coffee is the best I've tried so far! And their staff is very knowledgeable in terms of where to go and what to do and see in Venice.
1) Be prepared to lift your luggage - it's reasonably easy to get to the first floor, but if you are not young or sporty, you better keep off the second floor - the staircase will easily beat any steep steps you've ever seen in your life. But then again - it's so authentic (obviously, it leads to the rooms located at the former attic of this medieval house) that I can't keep myself from praising it! 2) A shelf is needed to be installed in the shower cabin - otherwise it's no place for putting your shampoo and shower gel, so you have to put it on the floor near the cabin.
good hotel for unexpencive rest in Venice, small room, very closely to San Marco sq.
The hotel staff was helpful and the location was great. Short walk to St. Mark's Square. AC was nice too after a day out in the heat. The room was small but comfortable enough.
Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff, always available when needed. The owner / manager was around during the day and very hands on which was nice. Rooms were small and functional but the hotel remained authentic and cosy. They were very accommodating when we requested anything.
We stayed at the hotel in March 2012 for a two day visit to Venice. It is a nice hotel with very helpful staff, although being in Venice, it can be a little hard to find your way to it at first. It is in a very good location though, not 5 minutes from Piazza San Marcos. Also the breakfast there was very good, which was unexpected. Also, there is a very good restaurant next to the hotel, where my girlfriend and I had one of the best pizzas in Italy.
The internet was a bit pricey, and the rooms were very warm to hot, especially at night. I experienced this all over Italy though, and it may have been due to the time of year.
Bridge Hotel is situated in a very quiet area. The staff showed friendliness ss and eager to help at any queries we had. The hotel is only a little walk from all the attractions. I would recommend Bridge hotel for anyone who wants to visit Venice.
- The pictures on the website were misleading, I though it was on the water front - the hotel room was too small - the shower didnt work very well, it had no pressure and was falling apart - it was quite hard to find
hostess of the hotel was very nice and friendly
anything else about hostess
The Staff were fantastic, we dealt with Francesca and she could'nt do enough for us and her English was good. We requested not to many csteps to our room and they were accommodating. It was very very central
No lounge area to sit in and our bedroom was tiny but as we did'nt pay an exorbatant amount so I guess thats why.
THe location is very central. It is a well run hotel with helpful staff. Good value.
It is close the San Marco Piazza and the many vaporrato stops. It is a very old hotel and has lots of history.
No lift for the second and third floors. Rooms are small and shower even smaller.
The coffee is really good, and the location also.
Charge for wifi
Poor breakfast, room was not comfortable (long gaunt room)
